What is your fee structure ?

The fee schedule is as follows:
8/10ths of 1% on the first $500,000
7/10ths of 1% on the next $500,000
6/10ths of 1% on the balance

The management fee is based only on the amount of assets under management.  We do not receive compensation or commissions from transaction activity.  Performance fees are not permitted.  When an account is opened with the firm an initial appraisal is prepared which sets the fee for the first quarterly period or part thereof.  Subsequent quarterly fees are based on the prior quarter's ending value.  There is no prepayment of fees.  Fees are billed and due at the end of each calendar quarter.

It will be our policy to negotiate fees for large accounts, special relationships, charitable accounts, or unusual circumstances.  The relationship can be terminated at any time by either party.  Fees can be paid directly from your account or we can invoice you directly for payment.

I currently work with a broker and receive a regular statement.  Will I also receive a statement from Jerrmar Capital Management ?

Clients will receive a portfolio appraisal at least once per calendar quarter.  If necessary and requested by the client, we will provide monthly account appraisals.  Additionally, we can provide clients with an appraisal or other special report at any time it is needed.  The brokerage firm, as custodian, will also provide clients with regular monthly statements and a confirmation each time a transaction is initiated for the account by the adviser.

Additionally, as an auditing measure, Jerrmar Capital Management receives copies of all client brokerage statements and transaction confirmations.  This duplicate set of records is stored by our firm and used to generate the client statement.

What if I don't have a broker ?

We will be happy to provide you with a list of brokers with whom we have established relationships.  Ultimately, it is up to the client to determine which broker you prefer to execute directed transactions and provide custody of your assets.
